On 1/21/2009, with record breaking high temperatures in both Colorado and Kansas (over 70 degrees), 33 dogs were transported to safety on C.A.R.E. vans. All of the animals were from high kill shelters in southern Missouri and Kansas. Here are some pictures of the lucky riders who had rescue commitments in Colorado.
