On July 8, 2009, 4 vans of animals (67 dogs and 3 cats) were transported by C.A.R.E. to Colorado rescues.  Most of these animals were from Cabool, Missouri and Kansas City.   Sandy Pohl's daughter, Aaron, took all of these photographs as we quickly  transfered the animals to the 2 Denver bound vans in Hays.  In Wakeeney, 2 more vans of adorable pups joined our caravan from Dodge City, Kansas.  These vans were driven by Ford County Humane Society volunteers and C.A.R.E. covered their gas expense.  Thank you to all involved in saving this wonderful and deserving group of animals.  We know the receiving rescues will find them great homes in Colorado.
