WYOMING DACHSHUND AND CORGI RESCUE

Here are the new Corgi pups we have.  The tris are 10 weeks old.  Mom is a Cardigan, Dad is a Pembroke.  The red and white is Melia, a 4 month old female Pembroke.
All are cute and full of ways to keep our life interesting.

We brought 35 wonderful dogs into rescue from C.A.R.E. last year.

KELLI From Kansas City

Hi Lisa,
This is Kelli, a 2 year old Corgi mix that came to us last Saturday, Feb. 18 on transport.  She got adopted on Sunday, Feb 19, by a nice young lady who drove up here from Colorado Springs.  She had to be vetted and spayed and will go the her new home tomorrow.  She could only have gotten here because of your transport. Kelli is very mellow and laid back but will be happy to join her new owner on hikes in the mountains.

Thanks for helping these wonderful dogs,
Linda Szymanski

In 2010, C.A.R.E. transported 27 dogs to Wyoming Dachshund Rescue based in Wheatland, Wyoming.    All but 5 have been adopted as of early January 2011.   Linda Szymanski (email: starhoku1@wildblue.net) picked up all of the dogs in Denver and transported them to her Wyoming home for foster and placement.  These little doxies were some of C.A.R.E.'s cutest passengers.

JUBILEE, NOW KNOWN AS GINGER

This is a recent picture of Jubilee and her new owner, Lillian.  This poor Dachshund was found at a graveyard in Missouri.  She went into Rescue and was transported to us.  Jubilee was soon adopted by a wonderful family here in Wheatland,WY.  They have a day care and Jubilee (now Ginger) loves the children.

NATE, DADDY'S BOY

Hi,
Here is a picture of Nate.  He came into Rescue with Jubilee.  He looks very content and happy.

Hi,
Just an update..... Nate has been adjusting well, we had a little trouble finding a food that he liked (I tried Iams first) because he kept eating the cat food instead. But it's better now. He loves to run outside, and is learning how to play with squeeky toys. I thought you might like this picture; sitting on Larry's lap is one of his favorite things to do. He also likes to be rocked.
